As a college student, Monday is my least favorite day of the week. My alarm went off at 6:45 this morning and I had to actually leave my bed and be a productive young adult. Oh how I dread Mondays.
In my mind, Monday is a thunderstorm with gloom and no sunshine. It is a biscuit with no drink. Monday is the exact look on your face when you get a test back and the grade says, “F”.
Although I see so many negatives in Mondays, I’m becoming to realize all of the positives.
Any day ABOVE GROUND is a great day. Not only am I alive, I’m living, not just existing. I’m accomplishing all of my goals and growing closer in my relationship with God. Mondays are my fresh start. My renewal. My second chance.
Maybe you told yourself last Monday, that you would make it to every class that week. You over slept on Wednesday and missed your 10 o’clock. New school week, new chance to accomplish those goals.
Maybe you told yourself, you wouldn’t eat meat at lunch last week. Friday came and you had some chicken tenders. New work week, new chance to accomplish those goals.
Last week is in the past, we can’t revisit it.
Use today to revisit all of your goals and accomplish them.
Last Monday might have been bitter lemons, but this Monday is LEMONADE.
Jeremiah 29: 11
” For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope ”
